During June and July, visitors to the IFB Hub at Mann Island can see the work of seven diverse local artists courtesy of Liverpool based arts organisation dot-art, showcased across two floors of the building.

dot-art is working in partnership with organisers Liverpool Vision to give delegates an insight into the creative talent of the region and encourage them to take a piece of Liverpool art home.

In spring 2014, dot-art was asked by Liverpool Vision to supply art work by local artists for the Hub of the International Festival for Business 2014, at Mann Island. A wide range of work was selected, from large scale oil paintings depicting local landmarks, to contemporary digital pieces of the city's most famous exports, the Beatles. The paintings and limited edition prints can be found in all the public areas of the Hub, as well as the Pods where delegates can conduct meetings. All works are for sale, with prices starting at just £50.

Lucy Byrne, Managing Director of dot-art said: “We were thrilled to be invited to be part of the IFB Hub, and add an artistic element to the delegate experience. I was particularly pleased to include John Petch's painting “Mann Island”, depicting the Hub building itself; we are also delighted to be able to offer limited edition prints of this piece for the first time.”

Tracy Lynn, IFB Hub Project Manager added: “Working with Lucy Byrne and Dot Art has provided the IFB Hub with colour and animation through the artists’ paintings, providing the finishing touches to the place serving as the heartbeat of the Festival. It has also allowed us to showcase the best views, buildings and landscapes of Liverpool and the region to the International delegates in a creative and exciting way. The paintings have created many a talking point during IFB 2014 and have definitely raised the profile for all the artists on display.“
