Liverpool art on display at the IFB

The work of seven 'diverse' local artists is being displayed at the International Festival for Business (IFB) 2014's Hub, giving delegates an 'insight into the creative talent of the region'.

Arts organisation dot-art is working with Liverpool Vision on the display, which is being showcased across two floors of the building.

Tracy Lynn, IFB Hub project manager, said: "Working with Lucy Byrne (managing director, dot-art) and dot-art has provided the IFB Hub with colour and animation through the artists’ paintings, providing the finishing touches to the place serving as the heartbeat of the Festival.

"It has also allowed us to showcase the best views, buildings and landscapes of Liverpool and the region to the International delegates in a creative and exciting way."

All of the pieces, ranging from large oil paintings to digital pieces of famous Liverpool landmarks, are for sale, with prices starting at £50.

Lynn went on to say that the profiles of the artists had risen as a result of the display.
